I serve a vital role in connecting the student body to the university administration while ensuring that student voices are heard and taken into consideration when decisions are made. I work with student leaders from across campus to advocate for policy changes, to plan events that can connect the community, as well as advocate for changes that enhance and elevate the student experience and campus community to be a more accommodating and inclusive, and supportive environment. I engage in critical thinking, effective communication, and empathy-based leadership practice. This role is not just another title, but a role to ensure every student can be seen, supported, and empowered.
As a goal-oriented and service-oriented student, I study Political Science and Criminal Justice, with a minor in Journalism, at UNC Charlotte. I embrace my role to elevate student voices and create change on campus. I care deeply about advocacy, equity, and creating spaces for everyone to feel empowered. In addition to my service in student government, I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, incorporated, and I also enjoy using my platform to support the initiatives of social justice. At my core, I love to lead with intention, make sure to pursue purposeful communication, and always show up for my community.
