The Senate
The primary responsibility of the Senate is to promote the overall well-being of the Student Body. This objective is achieved by engaging in activities such as introducing, debating, and passing legislation, advocating for the interests of the Student Body, and employing suitable methods as deemed appropriate by the Senate. The Senate holds meetings with administrators to discuss the university's current status and upcoming campus changes, with the responsibility of conveying this information to their fellow students.
The Senate convenes twice a week, with smaller committee meetings taking place on Tuesdays, and full General Assembly meetings held on Thursdays.
During every General Assembly meeting, the Student Senate examines legislation concerning the allocation of student organization funding, registration of new student organizations, and provides valuable recommendations to administrators on various student needs, encompassing everything from academic affairs to student affairs.
