Upperclassman At-Large Senator

What is your vision for this position? What do you hope to accomplish?

As an Upperclassmen At-Large Senator, my vision is to create a more inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued and have their ideas heard. I want to introduce projects that have a lasting impact on our campus, like organizing regular Community Connection events where students from different backgrounds can come together to share ideas, concerns, and experiences about the campus in a welcoming setting. I also hope to work on expanding mental health resources such as implementing a peer support network that makes it easier for students to find help when they need it. Additionally, I’m passionate about starting an Innovation Fund, where students can pitch their ideas for improving campus life and receive funding to bring those ideas to life. My goal is to make sure everyone has the opportunity to contribute to our community and feel part of something bigger.
